Nexaria: Setting Guide for 5e and Pathfinder 2e

Hey everyone!

I hope you are all great!
In this update, I want to tell you what step we are on regarding the last phase of the project, as there are a few things to discuss.

📄 Final downloads: You all have the updated digital files ready to download from your Backerkit accounts. I have corrected many typos and changed a few things, so please, if you have downloaded the files before, download them again to have everything up to date.

📚 Printing: After many emails with the printer, I have decided on the materials for the books and sent all the final files. The printer is just waiting to receive my OK to start printing, but this depends on the next point.

🚚 Shipping: Well, this topic involves headaches and chaos. You might know how this is going with prices skyrocketing and the US changing their tariff mess each day (last week again).
I've been speaking with different shipping companies to get the best prices to deliver the books, thinking of different cases and ways to make it quick and cheaper.

I'm waiting to receive a cost estimate from GamesQuest, but it looks like it's the company I will be working with. My plan is to split shipments: GamesQuest will do the ones that are pricier and that require more bureaucracy (US tariffs, customs, etc.), and I will do the rest. In this way, I can try to minimize costs, and that impacts you in the end (in the best way). As there aren't enough backers compared to other projects GamesQuest works with, the prices aren't as low as they might be (more backers -> better price).
Once I have the final prices, I will post a new update to let you know that you need to go to BackerKit to be charged shipping. This will also mean that the printer will start working on the books.

🎲 Foundry VTT: Meanwhile, I have started working on the Pathfinder module for Foundry. Unfortunately, I don't have enough funds to get another person to help me with it, so  I'm doing it on my own, and it will take me some time to finish this and the 5e one.

Character sheets, GM Screen and World Map available now!

Hi everyone!
I hope you're enjoying your week.

As I told you last week, I have sent the custom character sheets for D&D and PF to everyone. For those who got the GM Screen and World Map, you should find them too in your BackerKit account. I hope you all like the big map of Nexaria!

And with that, everything that needed to be printed is finished!
In the next few days I will resume conversations with the shipping company and with the printer, as everything has changed a lot regarding costs (especially shipping). Once I receive the updated printing costs, I will send the files to the printer.

I will write a new update when I find the best shipping option to let you know the next steps to get your addresses and charge shipping fees.

I can't thank you enough for your patience. Enjoy all the Nexaria material that you now have!

Nexaria Companion (D&D 5e) PDF available now!

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had an amazing start to the new year!
I've been quite busy finishing everything I told you in the last update, and I'm excited to announce to you that the Nexaria Companion PDF is now in your BackerKit downloads.
If you don't know where to find it, follow the instructions I shared with you in this October update.

I want to share with you a few things regarding the 5e Companion. The book is written with the original 2014 D&D rules in mind, but there are a couple of things that we have adapted from the 2024 edition.
We have added the new weapon properties and masteries that appear in the new rules, so you can use them if you are playing the 2024 edition or the 2014 one.
The other thing is regarding the creature stats layout. The 2024 stats layout makes it easier to find the creature's information, so we have used a similar layout to display the creature's stats. I think that looks clearer for the GM.

Even though this is the Companion final version, if you find any typos or errors, please let me know in the comments so I can fix them before sending the book to the printer.

Next week I'll send you the final version of the Nexaria Campaign Setting for Pathfinder. I've made several changes and fixed some errors, so I need to change some of the layout. I'll also send you the custom character sheets for Pathfinder and D&D 5e as single files, and, if everything goes well, I'll also send the GM screen and world map.
Once I send you the remaining digital products, I'll post a new update to let you know.

Hi, everyone!

I hope you all had a great Christmas (if you celebrate it).

In the last update I told you that I'll try to have the books finished before the end of the year. Unfortunately, the layout of the 5e Companion is taking me more time than I expected.
In the process, I corrected a few typos, mechanical errors, and mistakes. I also rewrote some lore texts in both books that I wasn't satisfied with.

Hopefully I will send you the final version of the Pathfinder book and the almost-final version of the 5e Companion in the upcoming weeks.

Hi everyone!

This will be a quick update to inform you of the project progress.

I hope you are enjoying the Nexaria Campaign Setting release from last month.  As I told you in the last update, that PDF will be updated to the last version with some text corrections before I send it to the printer.

I'm working on the layout of the 5e Companion while I wait for the final conversion of the bestiary. As of right now, David is finishing up the villain's part of the bestiary.

If everything goes smoothly, everything will be finished by the end of the year and ffter the Christmas holidays I'll send the books to the printer.
